Meghan Helbick is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Exercise Physiology, and trained as a Certified Mind Body Eating Coach.  She received her undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences from the University of New Hampshire.  Her one year dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a top teaching hospital in the USA, prepared her for all types of nutritional issues.  She then went on to complete her Master’s degree at Florida Atlantic University in exercise physiology.  She has worked as a Health Coach and supervisor for five years. 

Meghan's own journey through emotional eating, yo-yo dieting, binge eating and struggles with body image has given her empathy and insight into what it takes to truly heal women's relationship with food and body.  Her education and personal journey combine to help you find food freedom and body love!

How is my approach different?

For far too long, you’ve been inundated by negative messages about food, weight and diet. You’ve been told that you’re a willpower weakling or that you need more self-control. The majority of nutrition experts promote conflicting advice. It's no wonder you are confused about what to eat, and how to have a happy relationship with food and a healthy metabolism! In my professional practice, I combine many of the best strategies from nutrition science and mind body nutrition. 

By eliminating all the “shoulds and shouldn’ts”, I focus on what’s right for your body and your personal style. As we work together in this way, emotional eating or binge eating or body hate become a place of exploration. Instead of seeing such challenges as the enemy, they become opportunities for growth and self-improvement. In my training at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, personal experience, and working with clients, I’ve learned to help people reach their highest goals not by strategies that punish, but through strategies that nourish.
